Welcome to Sunnycrest Church!  I am a native of South Dakota with roots in Pierre.  I am a graduate of SDSU with a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry.  I am currently getting my Master of Divinity degree from Sioux Falls Seminary.  Before Sunnycrest, I severd a Methodist Church in Madison, SD.

I am blessed with an awesome family, my wife Stephanie, and my daughter Lydia LaVonne.  I am an avid outdoorsmen.  If I am not in the office, I am most likely fishing, hunting, bird watching, or spending time with my family.

I attended Southeast Tech University, where I obtained my Architectural Engineering degree.  I have a daytime Job at IS Restaurant Design, where I use my degree to draw floor plans, and also sell restaurant equipment.  Music has been present in my life since I can remember.  From my dad teaching me my first songs at 12, to singing in many family weddings, reunions, and other gathers.  God then put me on the path to share my love of music and praise at Sunnycrest.

God has blessed me with two loving children, Carter and Avery.  As a family, we enjoy playing board games, watching movies, exploring outdoors, music, and spending time with our family members.  Since being with Sunnycrest, my faith has been restored, and also growing every day.  I love knowing I also have a "church family" to turn too.

As a master electrician, I use my gifts and talents to care for Sunnycrest buildings and grounds—but you can consider me the all-around handy man here. I’m happy to keep Sunnycrest looking and operating as it should.

My wife Cathy and I enjoy being a part of various Sunnycrest ministries. I’m personally involved in the men’s groups, bible studies and Promise Keepers. When I have some free time, I enjoy fishing.

One of my favorite things about being Sunnycrest’s office manager is interacting with so many amazing people from the church and the surrounding community on a daily basis. It truly brings me joy.
